Has your child lost their confidence?

In fact, your child feels that the other children stand in little groups ignoring them. Scenario 2: Your Own Memories

How about remembering back to when you had to start a new school or maybe take an exam. Do you remember that sensation of strong nerves and uncertainty before you arrived, but do you also recall how you began to feel more comfortable and relaxed as time passed. Again, this is a typical sensation experienced by most people, you start off by feeling insecure and lacking in confidence, but as time passes you are likely to feel more secure and confident in your own abilities as the situation becomes familiar.

Scenario 3:The Physical Response

Think about yourself here. You are leaving your workplace at the end of the day feeling exhausted and on edge, this seems to get worse day after day. You are starting to have physical symptoms like headaches and tummy aches, and the thoughts inside your head are negative and running fast. You ‘know’ that you lack necessary skills, and you don’t think you are meeting your boss’ expectations, you are sure they will find out you can’t do your job. You sit on your own at lunchtime, it is difficult to talk to the others, no one understands what you are going through.

Now imagine your child going through a similar scenario, and all of a sudden, it is easy to see how such negative patterns can affect your physical health. This is why such behaviour and thinking need to be addressed early on to avoid long term issues for your child.
